If you fully parse everything said, the takeaway is that they definitely won't be in season one, probably won't be in season two, and potentially could come even later than season three. They didn't actually specify it would be season three. The rest of us will be playing seasons for the additional content. Me and my entire guild wont touch seasons. So with a short '3-month' season with no economy and no 'race' or 'leaderboard to compare' or infinite 'paragon' there's absolutely zero reason to play seasons. Reset paragon (Diablo 4 paragon is capped to 100.) Reset the leaderboards (Diablo 4 doesn't have leaderboards, and has PRIVATE PROFILE, so you wont be copying/inspecting anyway.) Reset the economy (Diablo 4 doesn't have trading so no economy). People forget that the only point of seasons was to: The most fun I had in Diablo 3 was the first 5 months that didn't have seasons.
